Dunblane is a picturesque town located in the Stirling council area of central Scotland, within the historic boundaries of Perthshire. Known as a thriving commuter town, many residents benefit from excellent transport links to major cities in the Central Belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. Nestled along the banks of the Allan Water, a tributary of the River Forth, Dunblane is home to the iconic Dunblane Cathedral, which stands as its most notable landmark. The town's population has seen steady growth, rising from 8,114 in the 2001 census to 8,811 in 2011, with estimates suggesting it reached approximately 9,410 by mid-2016. Dunblane Railway Station, opened in 1848, originally served as a stop on the Scottish Central Railway, later becoming a junction for a line to Callander, which eventually connected to Oban before its closure in 1965 due to the Beeching cuts.
In the painting and decorating industry good preparation is imperative. This can not be emphasised enough when attempting to get the best results on a project. Any tradespeople who avoid this important stage in the process are clearly in the wrong profession. Inexperienced painters and decorators can often overlook important things such as knotting or sealing walls before lining them. This means that they will never get a long lasting finish and good quality job that lots of knowledge and experience can bring.
