Falkirk has always been a crossroads — canals, railways and roads meeting between the Forth and the Clyde — and the modern town reflects that mix, from the Wheel and the Kelpies to Callendar House and Park. Its housing runs from Victorian terraces and villas to flatted stock and a wide spread of modern family estates.
