Broughty Ferry is Dundee’s most desirable suburb — the place the jute barons built their grand stone villas along the Esplanade and the streets behind, with the castle and harbour at its heart. East along the coast, Monifieth adds golf links, Victorian terraces and a steady spread of family housing. Both face the Tay estuary, so the exterior work has to stand up to the weather coming off the water.
We handle interior and exterior decoration, sash-window repainting, period finishes and the maintenance these substantial coastal houses need. Same foreman from first visit to final walk-round, daily clean-up, and a fixed quote before we start.

Broughty Ferry grew rich on Dundee’s jute trade, and the barons who made that money built some of the grandest Victorian villas in the east of Scotland along its Esplanade and leafy streets. With the castle, the harbour and the beach, the Ferry stays Dundee’s most sought-after address; Monifieth, east along the coast, adds golf, Victorian terraces and family homes. Much of it faces the Tay and takes the weather that comes with it.
We have decorated across the Ferry and Monifieth since 1959. CHAS, SDF and PDA accredited, with the period, sash window and coastal-exterior specialism these houses need and the same foreman from quote to final inspection.

We can — it is much of what we do here. Esplanade elevations are exposed to wind and weather off the water, so we prepare hard and use breathable, durable systems built for it.
Do you cover Monifieth and West Ferry as well?
Yes — the whole stretch from West Ferry through Broughty Ferry to Monifieth is part of our regular run.
Where are you based, and is there a travel charge?
We have a Dundee office at Castlecroft Business Centre and have served the city since 1959. The Ferry is on our doorstep — no separate travel charge, and the quote is the price.
